Prices
Rooms are available from 3 p.m. and must be vacated on the day of departure before midday. Information regarding the approximate time of your arrival at the hotel would be very much appreciated. Should you be arriving in the morning, we would strongly suggest making a reservation for the night before.

Hotel occupancy tax
€3.30 per person, per night, to be paid extra. Those under the age of 18 are exempt.
Reservation – payment
When booking, you will be asked to provide a debit authorisation with your credit card number to guarantee your stay. A pre-authorisation check may be made on your credit card.
Villa Maïa reserves the right to check there are sufficient funds on your credit card before your stay.
Villa Maïa does not accept cheques.
Development and production
No-show
A no-show will result in the cancellation of your booking. You will be charged for the first night, and your room will be placed on automatic resale.

Damage
Within the framework of the hosting contract between Villa Maïa and its customers, each customer is responsible for the room made available to them, as well as for the furniture in it, from their arrival. In the event of damage or spoilage during their stay, Villa Maïa reserves the right to charge, potentially on the basis of a quote, the amount necessary for the repair work as well as all costs arising from it (loss of income due to inability to use the room, etc.).

Pets
Small pets are allowed at Villa Maïa subject to certain precautions. A flat fee will be charged of €30.00 per day.
Code of conduct
- Pets must be kept on a lead within the premises.
- Pets may not be left in the room alone or without surveillance. It is also necessary to ensure that they do not damage the room or the furniture and that they respect the peace and tranquillity of the hotel and its guests under all circumstances.
- For hygiene reasons, pets are not allowed in the swimming pool or near food and beverage areas.
Rights
All trademarks mentioned have been registered by their owners. The illustrations and photographs are owned by MAÏA Hospitality or by third parties who have authorised their use.
Garage
Villa Maïa has an underground garage for its customers. A flat fee will be charged of €35.00 per day, per vehicle. This service may also be offered to bar, breakfast and events customers.

The spa
Customers staying at Villa Maïa have access to the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, fitness room, sauna and hammam from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Changing rooms are available.

Villa Maïa uses all the tools at its disposal to ensure the reliability of the information on its websites. However, errors or omissions may sometimes occur. Catering
Breakfast is included in the room rate and served in our breakfast room from 07:00 to 11:00. Breakfast can be served in your room. Room service is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Food and drinks from outside: are not allowed at Villa Maïa for safety and hygiene reasons.
Data privacy
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act on 6th January 1978, responses provided to the forms on this website may be transmitted and used. You have the right to access and rectify the relevant data by writing to MAÏA Hospitality – 8 rue du professeur Pierre Marion – 69005 LYON.
In compliance with the provisions of the Act of 6th January 1978 concerning information technology, computer data files and personal rights, the automated processing of personal data carried out by the website has been declared to the French National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties (CNIL). The CNIL declaration number is currently being processed.
A free wifi connection is provided to all our customers.
Cookies
A cookie is a small piece of information stored on your hard drive by the server of the website you are visiting. It contains several details that are saved on your computer as a simple text file, which a server accesses to read and record information.
When you are browsing our website, information on your terminal may be read or recorded.

Refusal of cookies: You may decline Google Analytics cookies by downloading and installing the browser add-on to disable Google Analytics: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies are also used to determine whether or not the data subject has accepted the use of cookies on the website being consulted. In this way, they will not be asked the same question each time they visit the website.
Management of personal data
The visitor is informed of the regulations concerning marketing communication, France’s Digital Economy Law of 21st June 2014, the French Data Protection Act of 6th August 2004 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: no. 2016/679).

Data collectors and controllers

As the controller of the data we collect, we undertake to comply with the applicable legal provisions in force. In particular, it is up to us to establish the purposes of our data processing operations and to provide our visitors, upon receiving their consent, with complete information regarding the processing of their personal data. It is also our responsibility to keep an accurate register of processing operations. Every time we process personal data, we take all reasonable measures to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the personal data in terms of the purposes for which we are processing them.
Which data are collected?
We may process all or some of the following data:

Data storage period
Data transmitted through the contact form (Surname, First name, Company, Tel., E-mail address, Postal address, Consent) are sent via e-mail so that we can reply to you quickly. We systematically delete these e-mails once they have received a reply. A copy is kept securely on our website for a period of 3 years.
Your IP address is only used for statistical analysis. This data will be kept for 38 months from your last access. The expiry date will be pushed back with each new access.
Transmission of your personal data
We will not transmit or market your personal data.
Only your IP address may be transmitted to the company Google, Inc., exclusively for statistical and analytical purposes.
Right to access, rectify and object
In accordance with the European regulations in force, as a visitor to our website, you have the following rights:
right of access (article 15, GDPR) and rectification (article 16, GDPR), to update and ensure the completeness of your data, right to block or erase your personal data (article 17, GDPR), where they are inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous, outdated, or whose collection, use, communication or storage is prohibited

As soon as we learn of the death of a visitor, in the absence of instructions from them, we undertake to destroy their data, unless the data need to be kept for purposes of proof or to meet a legal obligation.

In such circumstances, you must indicate which personal data you would like to correct, update or delete, identifying yourself with a copy of a form of identification (identity card or passport).
Requests to delete personal data will be subject to the obligations imposed by law, relating to the retention or archiving of documents in particular. Finally, you can file a complaint with the supervisory authorities, in particular with CNIL (https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes).
Non-disclosure of personal data
We will not process, host or transfer the information collected on our visitors to countries outside the European Union or that are considered “unsuitable” by the European Commission without first informing the visitor. Nevertheless, we retain the freedom to choose our technical and commercial data processors provided that they offer sufficient guarantees with regard to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: no. 2016/679).
We undertake to exercise all the necessary precautions to safeguard the security of your details and, in particular, to ensure that they are not communicated to unauthorised persons. However, if we do become aware of an incident affecting the integrity or confidentiality of some of your details, we undertake to inform you and to communicate the corrective actions taken as soon as possible.
Within the limits of their respective responsibilities and for the purposes described above, the main people who are likely to have access to your data are the employees of the company Villa Maïa, in order to respond to your contact request, and the employees of the company 3VOIE, as part of its work on the website.
Incident notification
No matter how much effort is made, no transfer method online and no method of electronic storage is completely safe. As a result, we are unable to guarantee complete security. Should we become aware of a security breach, we will notify the visitors concerned so that they can take appropriate action. Our incident notification procedures take into account our legal obligations, both at a national and European level. We undertake to inform you of all matters relating to the security of your personal data and to provide you with all the information necessary to help you comply with your own regulatory reporting obligations.
No personal information is published without your knowledge or is exchanged, transferred, assigned or sold to third parties in any format. Only a hypothetical takeover of the company and its rights would allow the aforementioned information to be transferred to the purchaser, which would be bound by the same data storage and alteration obligations concerning a visitor of our website.
